Festival Eastern European Design

I had the opportunity to visit the Festival Eastern European Design.

I saw how similar, but at the same time, with a strong local accent – is design, design and creation in Central and Eastern European countries. During the few shows I attended, a fresh and aware look at design was evident. The creators showed the works of their established creators, but also their own work. It is apparent that there is great potential for creativity in this region, as can be seen by the number of initiatives, ideas and associations. This is not always followed by the aspect of sufficient commercialization, but it is clear that esthetics, sense and focus on the human being stand at the top here.
